About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Director of Business Development to join our expanding team at Cactus Custody, a pioneering digital asset custodian in Asia. With over USD 3 billion in assets under custody, Cactus Custody has earned the trust of over 300 asset managers, funds, exchanges, and Web 2 companies. This role will focus on driving business growth and expanding our custody services in the digital asset space.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts within the assigned region, including market analysis and advising on new product designs and iterations.
• Develop and implement team incentive plans to enhance sales performance.
• Expand customer base and sales channels, manage new client communications, and oversee contract signings.
• Organize user training sessions, manage customer expectations, and prepare sales materials such as sales decks, user solutions, and bidding documents.
• Prepare quarterly sales reports, monitor industry trends, and stay updated on market developments in the custody and blockchain sectors.
• Collaborate with the marketing and PR team to enhance brand awareness and industry influence for Cactus Custody.

Job Requirements

• 8+ years of work experience, including 3-5 years in the cryptocurrency industry with expertise in blockchain, CeFi, DeFi, or related fields.
• Experience in client relationship management within the financial or blockchain industries.
• Strong sales experience and established relationships with financial institutions such as banks, funds, and family offices.
• Proven track record of achieving targets related to lead generation, client onboarding, and increasing brand awareness.
• Ability to work under pressure, demonstrate strong teamwork, and possess excellent communication skills.
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English.
