Join a leading payments gateway and FinTech platform in Hong Kong, focused on providing seamless payment solutions to merchants across Asia Pacific. Our platform allows merchants to easily manage their transactions, open accounts, and accept payments through an innovative mobile app. We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to help drive growth and establish our brand in the payments and FinTech industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of Growth to expand the merchant acquisition business and elevate our brand recognition in the FinTech space.
• Identify and convert merchants across key industries such as food & beverages, medical, and retail into platform users.
• Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with referral partners to drive business growth.
• Provide top-tier client support by working closely with the business and customer support teams.
• Manage key accounts in major industries, ensuring client needs are addressed effectively.
• Support senior management in strategic business development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or client success roles.
• Familiarity with the payments and FinTech industry, particularly in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
• Strong intuition in understanding client behaviors, especially within the B2B payments sector.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Creative thinker with the ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
• Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Experience in meeting KPIs and generating sales in a short time frame.
• Previous experience in sales or business development within major payments companies in Hong Kong.
• Strong network of merchants ready to be converted into platform users.
• A “startup” mindset, with the ability to overcome challenges and drive growth.
