About the role

Join a leading multinational firm in the chemicals industry as a Marketing Manager in Shanghai. This role offers the chance to drive their expanding global presence and shape impactful marketing strategies both locally and globally. We’re looking for someone experienced in marketing communications (both traditional and digital marketing), offline events including trade shows and expos, influencer engagement, and news editing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and executing PR strategies to enhance brand image.
• Coordinate with media outlets and manage press releases and media kits.
• Assist in the planning and organization of corporate events, trade shows, and exhibitions.
• Develop marketing content including white papers to position the company as an industry leader
• Research and advise on brand narrative and content strategy
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies.
• Conduct research to identify industry trends and opportunities.

About the Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, New Media, Journalism, Corporate Communications, or a related field.
• At least 5-6 years of experience in communications, particularly in social media and content development, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation and organizational abilities.
• A creative mindset with a passion for generating innovative ideas.
• Solution-oriented, with the capacity to think and write both creatively and strategically.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
