About the role

A leading multinational firm in the chemicals manufacturing industry is currently seeking a talented Marketing Specialist, Digital and Social Media, to join its team in Shanghai. The firm has a growing global presence and this an excellent opportunity to play key role in their global and local marketing program in the region. The ideal candidate should have experience within marketing communications with a focus on digital / social media, influence, news editing etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead content development and social media communications and engagement strategies across a wide range of product lines.
• Advise on client projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables for social media and digital content
• Advise on brand story telling, narrative positioning and content strategy
• Serve as the day to day contact on Social Media content and strategy for the firm in the region
• Work with global on brand campaigns and localization

About the Candidate

• University degree in marketing, new media, journalism, corporate communications, marketing ect.
• Minimum 4-6+ years of experience in communications, social media communications and content development, ideally with in a consulting setting
• Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation, and organisational skills
• Creative in nature, ideas driven
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think and write creatively and strategically
• Proficiency in written and spoken ENGLISH & CHINESE
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative spirit
