About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development & Partnerships Director to drive the growth of our business in Asia. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding institutional relationships and partnerships, focusing on both traditional financial services and digital assets. You will work closely with internal teams to bring new products to market, enhance liquidity provision for crypto projects, and develop key partnerships across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand institutional OTC business by developing and executing growth strategies aimed at banks, asset managers, funds, and family offices across Asia.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products, gather customer feedback, and test new offerings.
  • Build and deepen relationships with high-profile crypto projects, local VCs, and other ecosystem players.
  • Develop partnerships with exchanges, custodians, lenders, and other key infrastructure providers in the region.
  • Drive brand awareness across key Asian markets, including Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
  • Implement structured business development processes to improve operational efficiency, such as CRM usage and campaign effectiveness.
  • Keep up-to-date with key developments in the crypto ecosystem and proactively identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in both traditional financial services and digital assets, with a strong understanding of OTC products and derivatives.
  • Proven track record in business development, partnerships, or client-facing roles within financial services.
  • Experience in several key Asian markets, with an understanding of both Asian and Western business practices.
  • Professional-level proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, or another major Asian language.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of educating counterparties about our services.
  • Knowledge of trading, crypto, and blockchain technology is a strong advantage, with a willingness to learn more.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • FICC sales experience and experience working with institutional clients is a plus.
