With a global team of over 300 members, EVG has built multiple innovative products and has been instrumental in advising and investing in key projects within the blockchain ecosystem.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Event Manager to plan and execute a variety of events aimed at enhancing EVG’s presence within the Web3 community. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to organize virtual and in-person events, such as conferences, webinars, and community gatherings, ensuring they align with our strategic goals and innovative approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events including conferences, meetups, hackathons, webinars, and community gatherings for the Web3 audience.
• Manage event budgets to ensure cost-effective use of resources while delivering impactful experiences.
• Coordinate with vendors, including venues, caterers, and promotional material suppliers.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event promotion strategies, including social media campaigns and email marketing.
• Engage attendees before, during, and after events to create a memorable experience.
• Handle logistical aspects such as registration, travel, accommodation, and on-site coordination.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, attendees, sponsors, and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in event management, ideally within the Web3 or tech industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written).

This is a full-time position based in Hong Kong. Compensation will be competitive and based on experience.
